Terms of service.

• Estimate of works/ Quotations We will always try to supply estimates that are as close as possible to the anticipated cost of works. An allowance should be made by you if further materials are required or if the works identify further tasks or time. Estimates are valid for period of 30 days only. Our estimates are based on information supplied and we cannot be held liable for undisclosed information once works have commenced. Estimates may be supplied in writing or verbally. • Payment for works You can pay for our services by bank transfer or cash. I am sorry we are unable to accept cheque or card payment. Payment will become due on completion of works for our domestic clients and within 14 days for commercial clients. We may charge a late payment charge for invoices overdue after the first polite reminder. For some works we may ask for 50% payment or cost of materials before works can commence. We will make this clear at the time of estimating for the works. • Liabilities We always try to work in a safe and sensible manner. We cannot however be held liable to un-disclosed hazards that may lead to damage to the environment in which we are working. Where you have supplied materials we have assumed that you have taken reasonable measures to ensure these are safe and fit for purpose. The property on which we work is assumed to be in good condition and fit for purpose and hence we cannot be held responsible for damage to the property if it is aged or in a poor state of repair. • Data We will store your data for internal use only. The only time your data is shared is if we need to appoint a sub- contractor. If you require us to remove any data we hold for you please contact us in writing. • Assumptions and Client responsibilities We assume that reasonable facilities are made available to us when working at your/ your Clients property to ensure our team are able work in a comfortable and confident manner. These include running hot water, toilet facilities and power. If these facilities will not be available, please inform us before works commence. We cannot be held responsible for any harm caused to other people or animals at the property not employed by us. We sometimes need to work at a property over a number of days and hence our equipment including chemicals and sharp tools may be stored at your/ your Clients property during the works. We will not be held responsible for damage caused by our materials to the property or persons handling them without our permission. If you have any question please contact us.
